NASA’s HEliophysics Strategic Technology Office (HESTO) enables new realms of heliophysics knowledge and capability
HESTO is charged with actively managing the NASA Heliophysics Division’s technology portfolio and supporting the principal investigators (PIs) in maturating and infusing their funded technologies into future missions. The HESTO team strives to catalyze the collaboration between PIs to spark novel and transformative technology ideas and mission concepts.

Technology Symposium
Annually, HESTO hosts the Heliophysics Technology Symposium. The purpose of this meeting is to showcase the latest advances in technologies relevant to Heliophyiscs. For 2023, this meeting will be virtual only and speakers will be limited to funded Principal Investigators. Anyone can attend to listen to the talks. In future years, we expect to make this meeting a physical one and expand our presenters to any scientists, engineers, and innovators in the field.
